Ben

Name: Ben

Age: 1 year and 7 months approx

Sex: Male

Breed: DSH

Ref number: 143

Personality:
Beautiful Ben is a sensitive little boy who is usually having a snooze in one of his beds or hiding places. Once you enter his unit it doesn’t take him long to come out and greet you for lots of fuss and he doesn’t stop purring. He will jump onto your lap to be stroked but doesn’t fully settle down on you at the moment.

Behaviour:
Ben is growing in confidence everyday and has started to explore outside of his unit when it’s really quiet. Although if he does get startled he will run back and hide in the safety of his bed. Ben loves his food, especially chicken so this is a great way to make friends and build his confidence.

Housing:
Ben does prefer the safety of his hide and sleep and finds new surroundings a little scary at first, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in the New Forest.

Children/pets:
Ben did come in to our care with other cats but it soon became apparent he prefers to be on his own; for this reason Ben needs to be an only pet.  Ben can live with sensible children aged 12+ who will be calm around him and give him time to settle.

Vet history:
Ben is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Ben has no known medical conditions.  4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £80. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
