Bella

Name: Bella

Age: 11 year old

Sex: Female

Breed: Ragdoll

Ref number: 96

Personality:
Bella is a shy but loving girl. She finds new environments quite scary and gains confidence in her own time. She enjoys
having human company and can often make new friends quickly. Bella needs time to feel secure when in new environments and she likes to take little steps at a time when she feels brave enough to explore.

Behaviour:
Bella is making lots of progress on her confidence everyday, she loves her castle hide where she mostly rests during the day but makes a quick appearance when she’s being socialised. She will purr away whilst having gentle strokes and she loves to be brushed. She will
sometimes nudge the brush to let you know she wants more. Bella is quite noise sensitive so if she feels a little unsure she will briefly pop back into her castle hide.

Housing:
Bella does prefer the safety of her carrier and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would need her own unused
room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Southampton (So31 area).

Children/pets:
Due to Bella’s nervous nature she will need to be the only pet in the household. Bella could live with children 12+ who will be patient and let her settle into her new home in her own time.

Vet history:
Bella is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Bella has bilateral horizontal nystagmus which is rhythmic movement of her eyes. Bella is currently showing no other clinical signs. Bella has been on some medication to help her toilet frequently. This will be provided for her new home and a plan will be given on how to gradually wean her off of this. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £80. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
