Rehoming – Profile
Beau came in as a stray and so unfortunately we have no history for her.
Behaviour observations on site:
Beautiful Beau is a playful, funny and energetic girl. She is always enthusiastic about getting out for walks and play time. She loves a run around in a secure space and enjoys playing with people she knows, particularly a game of tug! Beau likes a roll around in the grass and splashing through muddy puddles, but is happy for a towel dry before settling down in her bed.
Beau likes making new friends and really enjoys the company of people, she is looking for a home where her new family have plenty of time to spend with her. Beau is learning to greet people calmly and walk on a loose lead, her new owners will need to continue to practise this with her. In her enthusiasm to say hello, she can forget to keep her paws on the floor!
Although Beau came to us as a stray she appears to have been well cared for and is in good health. She has been losing weight since she has been with us, which will need to continue in her new home. Beau loves her food, which is helpful for reward-based training, but will need close monitoring to help her watch her waistline! Beau loves a cosy, comfortable place to snuggle and rest. She will make the most of a spot on your sofa for cuddles.
Beau is generally tolerant with other dogs and is happy to walk alongside them, although her playful and bouncy nature might be too much for some. So for this reason we are looking for a home with no other dogs. If you think you are able to give Beau the love and time she needs to be a wonderful, loving addition to your family, please apply to come and meet her.
It is important to remember that as she was a stray we have very limited history on how she will behave in the home, her new owners should be confident and experienced to deal with an energetic bull breed!
Adoption fee: £180 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Medical history:
Beau is not spayed.
She vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatment.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
