Personality:
Beatrix is such a gentle little girl who has taken her time to settle with us. She is happiest in her carrier as this is where she feels safest, often rolling over for fuss. Once she trusts you she will come out of her carrier and loves being stroked, often laying on her side or back purring. When she’s really relaxed with you she can a bit of a dribbler.
Behaviour:
Beatrix does get easily spooked and if there’s a loud noise or sudden movement she will go back into her carrier as this is her safe space. Once she relaxes she will come back out to see you. She will need her own unused room while she settles before she explores the rest of the property.
Housing:
Beatrix will need a home with outside access to a fully enclosed private garden. She cannot be homed in the Portsmouth PO6 area.
Children/pets:
Due to Beatrix’s nervous nature she needs to be an only pet and can live with teenage children who will be calm and quiet around her.
Vet history:
Beatrix is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Beatrix has no known medical conditions. She has been on some medication to help her relax whilst in our care which she is currently being weaned off of. If she is still on this when she goes to her new home it will be provided.4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
