Personality:
Baloo is a sweet boy who loves to have human company and will quickly come to greet you when being socialised. He loves his food so it is a good way to begin a bond with him.
Behaviour:
Baloo will enjoy being out in his run either on staff and volunteers lap getting all the fuss he can or he is equally happy to sunbathe within your company. He has his playful moments so he is easily entertained with his pom pom stick toy and will burn his energy chasing and pouncing on it.
Housing:
Baloo when first coming into the cattery was nervous of his new surroundings and used his carrier as his safe space so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property and eventually a fully private enclosed garden. Baloo cannot be rehomed in Basingstoke RG25 area.
Children/pets:
Baloo could live with children 12+ as he would benefit from a quieter home so that his stress levels are kept to a minimum to reduce flare ups in his Calicivirus. Baloo would need to be an only pet to help keep his stress levels low.
Vet history:
Baloo is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Baloo has Feline Calicivirus. This is a form of cat flu and means he will carry the virus for life. The condition can get worse with stress and may require veterinary treatment if he becomes poorly with it. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
