Name: Angus
Age: 4 Years Old
Sex: Male
Breed: French Bulldog
Ref number: 122
Personality:
Angus is a cuddly friendly boy who has made lots of friends since his arrival at the ark! He enjoys his walks and a short run around before settling down for a fuss or rolling over for a good belly rub!
Behaviour:
Angus has taken most things in his stride since arriving at the ark, he does well being introduced to new people and experiences. He has been socialised and walked with other dogs at the centre but we have found he generally prefers the company of people and isn’t particularly playful or interactive with other dogs.
Housing:
Cannot be rehomed to the Southampton area. We have minimal information on what Angus was like in his previous home and whilst we believe he could eventually learn to be left for a couple of hours this should be built up gradually and will need someone around whilst he settles into his new home, he will also need access to a private and secure garden.
Children/pets:
Angus could live with children of all ages but whilst we believe him to be happy around young children they should be supervised at all times. We would not rehome Angus with another dog however he could live with a dog savvy cat that’s lived with dogs previously.
Vet history:
Angus is up to date on flea, worming and vaccinations. He will need to return to the centre at a later date for castration. Angus has shown to have an intermittent skip on his back legs and the breed specific condition of flat faced breeds known as BOAS and whilst they do not negatively impact his life currently will need to be monitored in the home and may not be covered by insurance, further details will be provided by staff to successful applicants.
