Name: Amy
Age: 18 months approx
Sex: Female
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 155

Personality:
Amy came into us after being found in a bin shed with her newborn kittens. She has been a very good mum, nurturing her kittens whilst in the foster home, but is now ready to find her forever home. Amy takes everything in her stride and has shown herself to be a gentle loving girl. She is a friendly cat who has quickly made friends with the staff and volunteers in the cattery. She enjoys spending time in the company of her socialisers.

Behaviour:
Amy is often found resting in her cosy bed at the front of the unit, watching the comings and goings in the cattery. She is often keen to greet people when socialising and will get comfy and chill out, loving the fuss and attention! She isn’t overly playful in the cattery environment but will play nicely with her stick toy. It is likely once her confidence builds in a home, she will show a more playful side.

Housing:
Amy will need a home with outside access to a garden. Amy would benefit from a quiet area in the house which can be set up with her belongings initially whilst she settles. She cannot be homed in the Woolston (SO19) area of Southampton.

Children/pets:
Amy could live with Primary school age children as long as they are calm around her. Whilst we believe her to be happy around young children, they should be supervised at all times. With a slow introduction she could live with a calm dog who is use to living with cats.

Vet history:
Amy is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
