Name: Amber
Age: 3 years
Sex: Female
Breed: French Bulldog
Ref number: 11

Personality:
Amber is an energetic little girl who has fortunately spent the last year in a foster home due to an on going investigation. Her behaviour has flourished in her foster home but she is still looking for an experienced home. Amber loves to go for her walks and loves to play. She is very affectionate and loves to snuggle up on the sofa. Amber loves to play and is looking for an active home.

Behaviour:
Amber is confident out and about and has even spent some time travelling on a boat and took it in her stride! She is bold and brave and will make a fabulous adventure buddy. Amber has had an unsettled past which has led to her having a few trust issues. It takes time for her to fully trust somebody and build a relationship up with them. Amber is tolerant and accepting of new people coming into her house but prefers for them to remain hands off until she initiates contact. When she has a trusted bond with you, she is an amazing little dog and easy-going. Amber walks very well on lead and is happy around dogs outside the home. She is however looking to be the only dog in the home as she becomes worried and anxious when dogs come into her house.

Housing:
Amber will need a private garden of her own to help her on-going toilet training. She can be left for up to 4 hours.

Children/pets:
Amber will need to be the only pet in the household. She can live with older senior school children 15+.

Vet history:
Amber has allergic skin disease and this causes her to have flare ups of red/itchy skin. Amber can lick her feet excessively as well so it is important that her new owners are happy to continue on-going medication. Amber can be unsure at the vets and may require a muzzle, so it is important her new owners are confident with managing this behaviour.
