Personality:
Adam and Jonny are energetic boys who love to keep themselves busy maintaining their burrow and tunnel systems. after a long day of building the boys love nothing more then foraging for their food and gnawing on some tasty apple sticks.
Behaviour:
Jonny is a curious boy who will often be seen popping his head out of his burrow to see what’s going on with the outside world, Adam on the other hand is a little bit reserved and tends to prefer the safety of his burrow but will follow jonnys lead eventually. They can both naturally be a little wriggly when handling so they will require a little bit of patience at first.
Housing:
Adam and Jonny are looking for a large glass tank enclosure, with minimum sizing of 100 x 50cm (the bigger the better!) with plenty of suitable bedding for burrowing. Accommodation types can be discussed with staff.
Children/pets:
They can live around other pets, but to be kept separate/ in a different room and can live with secondary school aged children (11-18 years). we would also advise to have adult supervision with younger children if interacting/ handling with the gerbils.
Vet history:
Adam and Jonny have no previous or current health concerns
appreciated.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the gerbils.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
