Fiona

Name: Fiona

Age: 2 years

Sex: Female

Breed: Pocket Bully

Ref number: 95

Personality:
Fiona is a very sweet, friendly and cuddly girl. She’s a typical bully in lots of ways but enjoys a slower more gentle pace for her walks. She’s made lots of friends since her arrival at the Ark and can’t wait to find her forever home to settle down in!

Behaviour:
Fiona can be a little boisterous at times when she plays and like a typical bull breed doesn’t always know her own strength! Most of her toys don’t last her too long and whilst she does enjoy a good explore and a sniff it is often at her own pace, however she does have a prey drive and may attempt to chase a bird or squirrel! Fiona is interested in other dogs but not overly fussed about them and can walk past them easily enough when out on her walks. She is a little worried by the car and would benefit from adopters who will be patient and help build her confidence up!

Housing:
Cannot be rehomed to the Gosport area. Fiona would be suitable for most home set-ups though potential adopters should be prepared for any accidents as she settles in. Whilst we believe Fiona can be left for a period of time adopters should be prepared to introduce this gradually.

Children/pets:
Due to her behaviour and limited history Fiona will need an adult only and pet free home. Fiona cannot have any visiting children to the property.

Vet history:
Fiona is up to date with flea, worming and vaccinations but will need to return to the centre at a later date to be neutered. She has no ongoing medical conditions.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
