Personality:
Johnny Bravo is a very dainty boy, that spends his time burrowing in his bedding. We see him more towards the end of the day, appearing from a tunnel coming to find his food we have scattered around his enclosure. He is full of energy and can often be found running on his wheel.
Behaviour:
He is a very friendly boy, who is good at being handled. Like most dwarf hamsters, Johnny is extremely fast and extra care needs to be taken while handling him.
Housing:
He will need a minimum of 100cm by 50cm enclosure of unbroken floor space and deep bedding for burrowing (not wood shavings). He will need lots of hides, tunnels, enrichment items and ideally an appropriate sized wheel. Please talk to the staff for further information.
Children/pets:
Johnny Bravo can live around other animals in a separate room and can be homed with secondary school aged children (11-18 years). Younger children should be supervised when interacting with and handling Johnny Bravo.

Johnny Bravo has no current health concerns.

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
