Name: Bertie
Age: 4 years
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 71
Personality:
Bertie came into our care from another rescue charity due to a domestic split. He took a few days to find his feet but is now growing in confidence everyday. He is a social boy who is usually resting in a carrier but is straight out to greet you when you call him. His previous owners said he was an affectionate boy who would sleep on their bed each night and didn’t like to be shut out away from them.
Behaviour:
Bertie loves being around people and no matter what he’s doing he will often check in with you for a few strokes. He is an incredibly active boy who enjoys playing with a variety of toys, often having zoomies! His previous owners have described him as a beautiful boy who enjoyed exploring his garden, then curling up for cosy evening snuggles. Bertie will make a lovely addition to his new family and is looking forward to starting his new adventure.
Housing:
Bertie will need a home with outside access to a garden. He cannot be homed in the PO12 area of Gosport.
Children/pets:
Bertie’s previous owners have said he wasn’t happy being around young children but could possibly live with secondary school aged children who will be calm and gentle with him. Bertie can be a sensitive boy who has shown a dislike to other cats in the cattery environment so would be best suited as an only pet.
Vet history:
Bertie is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Bertie has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
