Solo

Name: Solo

Age: 2 years

Sex: Male

Breed: Shih Tzu/Boxer

Ref number: 19

Personality:
Solo is a gorgeous young boy who came to us through no fault of his own. He hasn’t experienced much of the world but has taken things in his stride since arriving with us. Solo is a bundle of love and affection who will make a wonderful addition to his new family!

Behaviour:
Solo walks well on lead and enjoys time off in an enclosed space to let off some steam, whilst he doesn’t interact much with toys yet he loves having a cuddle and attention from his favourite people. He has tolerated grooming well since he arrived a little overgrown and new owners can continue in helping maintain this. Due to having quite a sheltered life before his arrival with us Solo often finds things a little scary or worrying, he can be a bit uncertain of dogs to start with and also finds the car quite scary! His new family should be prepared to help him build up his confidence in these settings.

Housing:
Cannot be rehomed to the Horsham area. Solo will need access to a private and secure garden. Whilst we believe Solo could learn to be left for a couple of hours this will need to be built up gradually and he will need someone around at first whilst he settles in.

Children/pets:
Solo will need a pet free home but could have calm dog friends to walk with outside the home. He could live with secondary school aged children who have been around dogs before.

Vet history:
Solo is up to date with flea, worming and vaccinations.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
