Isaac

Name: Isaac

Age: 1 year

Sex: Male

Breed: Dumbo

Ref number: 28

Personality:
Isaac is a shy but inquisitive boy who is curious to sit and watch what you are doing. He is relaxed in nature; spending lots of his day resting in his favourite hammock snuggled down in the warmth. Isaac is a little reluctant to explore around unknown people, but we know in the previous home he was used to interactions with trusted people.

Behaviour:
Isaac struggled when he came into our care, as he was sharing his environment with 2 other entire males who were a little more intense around resources. We made the decision to split him from the others because his welfare was poor, hiding away, only coming out when the others weren’t around and not wanting to interact with people. Since having his own space and saturated with all his favourite things, he is thriving and is much more content, exploring all of his cage and loving enrichment time.

Housing:
For a number of reasons, medical and behavioural, the decision has been made not to neuter Isaac. For this reason, Isaac is looking for a home on his own, where his new owners can continue to prove him with everything he needs. He will require a large rat cage in a room where he can safely come out and explore for socialisation, sizes of this can be discussed with staff.

Children/pets:
Isaac can live around other pets, but they should be kept separately from his living area. He can also live with secondary school aged children, but must have adult supervision if handling/interacting him.

Vet history:
Isaac has been cleared by the vet and has no medical issues.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £15. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
