Personality:
Niko is a super friendly boy who came to us as a stray. He absolutely loves lots of fuss and human company. Niko is very food motivated and can be quite needy when he is around people. He does find the kennel environment really stressful, but the staff are trying everything they can to reduce this while he is in our care.
Behaviour:
Niko is super friendly and generally good around other dogs, however some dogs might find him a little too much as he can be quite eager to interact. He also finds it stressful being left alone – therefore he will need someone who is willing to be patient and help him learn how to settle.
Housing:
Niko cannot be rehomed to SO16 area. Whilst we believe that eventually Niko could be left at home alone, he will need adopters who are around most of the time whilst he settles in. He will also need to be the only dog in the household as he wants all of the attention for himself!
Children/pets:
Niko could potentially live with children of senior school age who are used to being around dogs. He could potentially live with small animals or a dog savvy cat.
Vet history:
Niko is up to date with flea and worming, vaccinations and he will need to be returned to the centre for neutering after he has settled in. As many French bulldogs, Niko has some skin allergies and will need his ears cleaned regularly.
Additional information:
All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
