Georgie

Name: Georgie

Age: Young

Sex: Unknown currently due to age

Breed: Budgie

Ref number: 10

Personality:
Georgie is a sweet yet shy little bird, but who gets especially happy when they are given a branch of millet to peck at! Due to Georgie being quite young, it is hard to say if they are male or female at the moment, but we believe they could be male.

Behaviour:
Georgie is currently used to life within an indoor cage, however we do believe they would thrive really well in a much more spacious outdoor aviary from the flying we have seen them do so far. Naturally Georgie can be easily spooked, but hopefully with the company of their own kind, their confidence will grow.

Housing:
Georgie is looking for a large outdoor aviary and must be housed with other Budgies. Sizing of the aviary can be discussed with staff.

Children/pets:
Georgie can live around other pets, but to be kept separately. They can also live with all aged children, but we would advise that children must be supervised if interacting with the birds, especially younger children.

Vet history:
Georgie has no current medical issues. Some of their nails are a bit long, so to help with this we ensure they have some abrasive perches to help wear them down.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £13. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the budgie.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
