Sully

Name: Sully

Age: 6 weeks

Sex: Male

Breed: Jack Russell Terrier/Poodle

Ref number: 103

Personality:
Let us introduce you to the Monsters inc puppies! This sweet trio have been on foster with one of our wonderful volunteers, which means they have grown up in a family home. They are very playful and inquisitive, and love to explore new things around the house. Like all puppies, Sully is playful and affectionate, but can be mouthy at times. We are looking for dedicated adopters who are prepared to put in the time and effort it takes when raising a puppy. These puppies are looking for committed owners who can provide a loving, stable home.

Behaviour:
Sully is a sweet natured, playful boy, he enjoys playing with toys, having cuddles and running around the house with his siblings. Sully is a terrier! So adopters should research terrier breed traits and what to expect from your terrier puppy. Terrier lovers will understand that this sturdy, high-energy breed are fantastic companions when given the correct outlets. At times Sully likes to take himself off and explore on his own away from the chaos of his siblings. Adopters should enrol their puppy in training classes to help them start off on the right paw. We advise all puppies are given a quiet area of the house to sleep and eat in, such as a cosy den, crate or pen set up. His fosterer says he is ‘the gentlest and was a little more reserved to start with, very affectionate and the first to climb on your lap. But still super playful with his siblings.’

Housing:
All puppies need to have someone at home all the time to begin with, with gradual exposure to being left. They will need access to a private, secure garden. Please do not apply for this puppy if you are not in a position to adopt in 2 weeks time. We will not process applications with holidays approaching.

Children/pets:
Sully can live with any age children, cats and dogs (subject to successful meets at the centre). Please consider before applying if your existing animals will be happy to welcome a bouncy puppy into their home. Adopters must be willing to expose her to other animals slowly and be able to keep them separate while this is happening. Please note-puppies are mouthy and nippy, so adults should consider this before applying.

Vet history:
All puppies are flea, wormed and microchipped. They have had their first vaccination and will need to return to the shelter for their 2nd vaccination and neutering (when they are old enough)

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £250. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
