Bailey

Name: Bailey

Age: 3 years approx

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 116

Personality:
Bailey came into our care with 5 kittens from a multi cat household. It’s likely that she hasn’t had much human interaction, if any. She went into a foster home with her kittens where she was a brilliant mum, but sadly because of so little positive interaction with people she doesn’t seem comfortable around them and would choose to create space.

Behaviour:
Bailey shies away from people and given the choice would rather keep her distance. Since coming back into the cattery environment, she has shown a preference to being in her outside run, hiding in her scratch post and watching the outside world. She is mostly active in quiet periods of the day when no one is around or overnight once staff have gone home.

Housing:
Because of Bailey’s poor start in life she’s currently not a typical house cat and is looking for a more alternative lifestyle. Ideally Bailey would like a secure building in a garden where she can be given a completely hands off approach. It may be that she will prefer to live permanently like this but she may gradually build trust with her owners and surroundings and choose to live a more conventional lifestyle in the home.

Children/pets:
Bailey will need to be cared for by adults only. Other pets maybe a consideration depending on circumstances and space.

Vet history:
Bailey will be neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated at the time of adoption. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £50. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
