Personality:
Lily and Titch are an older pair of girls who came to us through no fault of their own. Despite their age they’re both still full of energy and love spending time with people!
Behaviour:
Both of these girls walk lovely on lead and spend most their walks sharing sniffs and enjoying a little explore. Whilst Lily is the quieter of the two Titch can sometimes be a little vocal but will soon get back to sniffing with some gentle encouragement. We can’t wait to find these golden girls their retirement home, they would love a quieter home where they can rest and enjoy their twilight years.
Housing:
These girls are looking for a home with a private and secure garden they can explore, they cannot be rehomed to the PO13 area. Both Lily and Titch can be left for short periods during the day but would love to have company and a lap to sit on.
Children/pets:
They will need to be the only pets in the home but could live with children of primary school age. Applicants should consider that whilst these girls are happy around children, a quiet home is truly what they are seeking.
Vet history:
Both Lily and Titch have been neutered and are up to date on their flea, worm and vaccinations. Prior to her arrival at the ark Titch had a short episode of hindleg weakness which improved before coming into us. More information will be given to any potential adopters.
Additional information:
All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
