Billie

Name: Billie

Age: 9 months

Sex: Male

Breed: Staffie/Husky

Ref number: 39

Personality:
Billie is a big bundle of fun with a huge personality, he loves people and will greet everyone with a waggy tail and happy face ready for cuddles. He enjoys playing with toys especially a good game of tug and he is very foody which helps with ongoing training. Billie can be worried by new things but is able to work through this with guidance from his handlers.

Behaviour:
Billie is a large dog currently weighing approximately 35kg at only 9 months, he is a strong boy who will need ongoing training on how to walk on a lead but in the short time he has been with us he has shown he is really keen to learn and picking up on training quickly. We are currently training him to wear a harness and not to jump up and this will be passed onto any adopters with support from our behaviour team. He will need an experienced home who is able to continue with his ongoing training and provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. For those of you that love big, silly bullbreeds, Billie is the guy for you!

Housing:
Billie will need a private enclosed garden with a 6ft fence. He needs a very active home who can commit plenty of time to training. Billie could learn to be left for a couple of hours once settled in his new home. He cannot be rehomed to the SO31 area.

Children/pets:

Billie could live with secondary school children who are used to big strong dogs. He would need to be the only animal in the home but would love to have some doggy friends out and about.

Vet history:
Billie is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatment. We recommend he is not castrated until he is at least 18 months old when he is fully grown and he can return to the center for this to be done.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £250. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
