Rehoming – Profile
Luna came into our care alone after her previous home were no longer able to care for her. She was previously living with other guinea pigs at her previous home.
Behaviour observations on site:
Luna is on the search for a family to call her own. She has few requests, these include strokes, daily veggies, and a female(s) or a (neutered) male companion(s). We offer a bonding service at the shelter, please ask for more information about the service.
She currently spends her time nibbling on hay watching the world go by. This moon girl loves spending her day out in the run lying out in a hide or eating tasty dandelion leaves. When inside she loves nothing more than hiding away in her hay pile. Like most piggies Luna at first doesn’t like to be picked up so will run away, but when handled and given a gentle stroke she is a very friendly girl. With a very friendly temperament and a lot of sass could you offer this sweet girly a loving home?
Luna and her new friend/s will need a 6ft x 2ft enclosure indoors or outdoors (this is for 2 piggies), and we do recommend a run for the garden with a lid.
If you are interested in Luna, please fill in an application form and send in any photos you may have of your set up to help speed up the adoption process. Thank you.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the guinea pig.
Luna has no current medical issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
