Willow

Name: Willow

Age: 6 months

Sex: Female

Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff/Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Ref number: 11

Personality:
Willow is a beautiful, friendly girl who is unfortunately back with us after being adopted from us as a puppy. She is now 6 months old and ready to find her new forever home. Willow is a bundle of energy but thrives around people and loves her training. She engages very well with her handler and is very food motivated, making training incredibly rewarding. She is a smart cookie who is looking for a dedicated family, able to put lots of time and work into her ongoing training.

Behaviour:
Willow has previously lived with children and did very well around them. We feel she could live with children again, as long as they are confident around large dogs. Willow can lack confidence at times, and previously found it challenging to walk in new areas. At the centre, she has done very well with exploring new places and loves to go on walks with other dogs. She can be a bit full on- and will need on- going guidance from her adopters but we believe Willow could benefit from living with another adult dog. This will be subject to successful meetings here at the centre.

Housing:
Willow can be destructive in the house so currently cannot be left for long periods. She will need an owner who is around for most of the day, or she could be suitable to be an office dog! She will need lots of chews/enrichment for her to focus her bull-breed energy onto. If you are a bull-breed lover looking for a new companion then we would love to hear from you!

Children/pets:
Willow could live with children of secondary school age and other dogs who would be happy to share their home with a bouncy puppy. Willow cannot live with cats. Please consider if you have the time and energy to put into Willow before applying, we are desperate to get it right second time round for her.

Vet history:
Willow has no on-going medical issues but will need to be spayed once she is old enough.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £250. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
