Name: Tarot
Age: 1 year
Sex: Male
Breed: Belgian Shepherd/Rottweiler
Ref number: 129
Personality:
Tarot came to us through no fault of his own and can be a little wary around strangers but despite his difficult start in life he’s a fun goofball with a lot of love to bring to his new family!
Behaviour:
Tarot can be a little nervous to start and can flinch at fast movements so benefits from a slow hands off approach when meeting new people but he doesn’t take long to come round and once he’s made friends he’s just a big softy who loves nothing more than a good fuss and a cuddle! Tarot likes to learn and does well keeping his brain engaged in training so would benefit from owners who are interested in keeping this going with him, due to his nervous energy he would benefit from adopters with some knowledge or willingness to learn dog behaviour.
Housing:
Tarot will need access to a private and secure garden with 6ft. fencing and ideally a way to separate in the house if required via the use of a stair gate. Whilst we believe Tarot could eventually learn to be left for a couple of hours this will need to be built up and he will need someone around whilst he settles into his new home.
Children/pets:
He will need an adult only household and whilst he will need it be the only pet in the house he could have some dog friends to join on walks out of the home!
Vet history:
Tarot is up to date with flea, worm and vaccinations but will need to return to the centre at a later date for castration.
