Swift

Name: Swift

Age: Adult

Sex: Male

Breed: Greyhound

Ref number: 110

Personality:
Meet our ex-racer Swift! Despite his name and background he much prefers a gentle paced walk where he can enjoy a few sniffs before settling back to relax with a few cuddles on a soft bed. He’s a gentle boy with a sweet nature who is now ready to find his forever home!

Behaviour:
As Swift is an ex-racing greyhound he does have quite a high prey drive, he is fully muzzle trained and used to wearing one when out on his walks here at the centre. We highly recommend he continues to wear his muzzle when out on walks in his new home.

Housing:
Swift will need a home with a private and secure garden with 6ft. fencing with no visiting cats! We believe Swift could be left 2-3 hours however this will need to be built up once he’s settled into his new home.

Children/pets:
Due to his high prey drive Swift cannot be rehomed with any cats or small animals but could live with another sighthound pending successful meets at the centre. He could also live with secondary school age children.

Vet history:
Swift has no existing conditions and is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on flea and worming.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
