Name: Siren of the Seas
Age: 8 years
Sex: Female
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Ref number: 43
Personality:
Ahoy there, my name is Siren and I am searching the horizon for my forever home. I am affectionate, playful and don’t let my age fool you, for I am a bundle of fun and ready for adventure! Give me a good game of tug and I’ll show you my lust for life and love for toys. I am also very happy when I get to snuggle up to my favourite people and can’t wait to show my new home how loyal and loving I am. My foster family say I’m a joy to train partly because of my love for food. I currently live on a house boat where I am polite, well mannered and show my sweet nature.
Behaviour:
I am a little worried about other dogs and although I can be calm walking near to them, I do not like them to interact with me and may bark, however I can be easily distracted and am fully muzzle trained. I am told I am excellent at walking on the lead however my terrier instincts make me want to chase cats and wildlife so I may become a little excited and pull when they are around. If you have had a bull breed like me before or are interested in learning about my needs I would love to hear from you.
Housing:
Once settled in a new home I could be left to snooze for up to 4 hours however if this is too frequent I will become lonely as I love to be around people and need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I would love a private enclosed outside space where I can feel safe and spend time chasing my ball or sunbathing. Noisy neighbouring dogs are likely to upset me. I am excellent at travelling in my crate in the car and will jump straight in. I cannot be rehomed to the PO2 area.
Children/pets:
I could live with children of secondary school age who are confident with dogs like me. Due to having a high prey drive I should be the only animal in the home. I would like to continue to be given opportunities to walk near to calm dogs in a controlled way so I have lots of positive experiences around them.
Vet history:
My vet informs me I am up to date with flea and worming treatment, fully vaccinated and spayed. The vet says I have been through a lot medically but I am finally as fit as a fiddle and ready to find my forever home! If anyone is interested in adopting me, my medical history will explained to them.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
