Saucy, Kiwi, Demelza & Teapot

Name: Saucy, Kiwi, Demelza & Teapot

Age: 2-4 years (approx)

Sex: Females

Breed: Goat – Golden Guernsey

Ref number: 2, 3, 4, 5

Personality:
Saucy, Kiwi, Demelza and Teapot are a beautiful group of girls who are very curious and love to know what is going on in their field. If you pop by to visit them, they will come running to greet you; Kiwi and Saucy being the first to come and say hello. They are great at grazing down nettles and keeping the grass short.

Behaviour:
Saucy likes to think she is the the head of the group, always the first to investigate. Kiwi is never far behind, and she loves nothing more than a good scratch. If you don’t offer a scratch, she will use you as a human scratch post! Demelza is inquisitive too, and is especially interested at feeding times. Last but not least is sweet Teapot. She is a little on the shy side but does like a nose rub when she gets to know you. She will thrive in an environment with lots of space, plenty of resources and someone who will give her the opportunity to approach in her own time; allowing her to grow in confidence.

Housing:
These girls are looking for a field with post and rail and stock fencing. They would thrive in a paddock a minimum of 1/2 an acre. They can be housed as a family of four or as two pairs. From our observations, Demelza and Teapot enjoy companionship together and Saucy and Kiwi enjoy being around each other. You will require a CPH number from DEFRA. Transportation can be arranged by the team here at the Ark, providing it is within a one hour radius of the shelter.

Children/pets:
The girls could be introduced to an existing herd, providing there is plenty of space and resources to house them all. This lovely herd can live with children of all ages.

Vet history:
They are full vaccinated and wormed. No other medical issues.

Adoption fee:
£300 for 4 or £150 for the pair. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:
