Personality:
Roo is a very confident girl who’s always excited to see her human friends, once she hears you she rushes over to greet you at the cage door. She will gently sniff at your hands and will start to climb onto your arm.
Behaviour:
She enjoys being around people and is happy to be handled. She loves to explore and climb all over you and she would make a great new addition to any family.
Housing:
Roo will need a large cage with lots of enrichment for her to be able to climb and display her natural behaviours. She is seeking friendships with other rats, either females or a neutered male.
Children/pets:
Roo can live around other animals in a separate room. She can also live with children of junior school age. All young children should be supervised when handling rats.
Vet history:
Due to Roo being bald she will need extra care to ensure her skin doesn’t get dry and her nails will need to be checked to ensure when scratching/cleaning herself she doesnt hurt her skin due to it being more exposed.

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
