Name: Moose & Goose
Age: 6 Years
Sex: Males
Breed: Boar x Angora
Ref number: 6 & 7
Personality:
Moose and Goose are a curious pair of boys who always want to be where the action is, Moose can often be heard calling out for his breakfast and the pair will eagerly be waiting by the gate when it arrives, throughout the day they enjoy spending their time keeping the grass short and sunbathing in their sun spots.
Behaviour:
Moose is the more confident of the pair and will often come straight over to get some attention when you enter the field whereas Goose can be a little more reserved but will follow shortly after. On occasions Goose has shown he can be a little unsure around sudden noises and large crowds of people but has already gained so much confidence since being here at the centre.
Housing:
Moose and Goose are looking for a field with post and rail and stock fencing. They would thrive in a quiet small holding due to their nervous nature in a paddock a minimum of 1/2 an acre . You will require a CPH number from DEFRA. Transportation can be arranged by the team here at the Ark, providing it is within one hour radius of the shelter.
Children/pets:
The boys could be introduced to an existing herd of larger horned goats, providing there is plenty of resources to house them all and they can live around children of all ages but must be supervised around interacting due to their large size
Vet history:
The Pair are both neutered, vaccinated and currently have no health concerns. They are very large (approx. 103cm tall)
