Frank

Name: Frank

Age: 1 year

Sex: Male

Breed: Jack Russell Terrier/Poodle

Ref number: 119

Personality:
Frank is an adorable sweet-natured little terrier that has not had the best start to life. Gets very excited to see his friends and loves a fuss but he can be nervous and shy around new people. He has come to us from a multi-dog household where he didn’t get to see much of the outside world. Frank can find the world quite scary but his confidence is growing everyday.

Behaviour:
Frank has been learning to walk on a lead. He is doing really well at this, but he is looking for an adopter who can continue his socialisation and training slowly in his new home. Frank enjoys a gentle fuss and is very playful and excited to see his human and dog friends. He is a little nervous and can shy away from sudden movements, so this lovely boy is looking for a quiet home. He loves his dog friends and loves to play and follow other dogs around. He is nervous and will run away from bigger dogs and those that bound over but he would love some calm walking companions.

Housing:
Frank will need a private, fully enclosed garden so he can build his confidence in his own time. He’s not ready to go for daily walks yet, but we hope with time he will begin to enjoy a quiet potter. Support will be given around Franks training and how to help him grow in confidence.

Children/pets:
Frank could live with cats and other small, calm dogs. He could live with secondary school age children.

Vet history:
Frank is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatment

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
