Name: Dot
Age: 8 weeks
Sex: Female
Breed: French Bulldog
Ref number: 85

Personality:
Introducing you to our lovely little puppy Dot, a French bulldog X likely to grow to be a medium sized dog. She has unfortunately found herself with us at the very young age of 8 weeks, through no fault of her own. We are looking for a committed and loving forever home for her. She has been lucky enough to spend time in a foster home where we have learned lots about her. Dot is a typical puppy, playful, curious, and exploring the world with her mouth. She is currently working on toilet training, being calm and chewing appropriate things.

Behaviour:
Dot will need someone around for the majority of the day initially and someone who is prepared to help her get used to being on her own gradually over several months. Being a bull breed, Dot is going to be energetic and bouncy. She is going to need owners who are prepared to work through her mouthy and jumpy stages and follow our training advice. Adopters will need to sign her up to puppy classes and be prepared to guide her through her socialisation gradually and at her pace. Dot is doing fantastic in her foster home and has so much potential.

Housing:
Dot can live with children 5+. Dot will need access to an outside space to continue her toilet training and to be able to have off lead time each day.

Children/pets:
Dot can live with confident cats and another patient dog who is up for living with a tiny/ teethy whirlwind. If in a home with other pets their interactions will need to be managed while Dot learns to be calm around them.

Vet history:
Dot will be fully flea’d and wormed. She may have to come into the centre to have her final vaccination after adoption. When Dot is old enough she will come back to us for spaying.
