Dolly

Name: Dolly

Age: Adult

Sex: Female

Breed: French Bulldog

Ref number: 77

Personality:
Dolly is a super sweet and fun girl. She loves playing with toys – especially balls and loves engaging in tug of war. She absolutely loves people and makes friends really quickly. Dolly has lots of energy and would make someone a great companion. If you are looking for a little dog with lots of energy, Dolly could be the dog for you!

Behaviour:
Despite Dolly’s great behaviour around people, she can get frustrated and anxious around other dogs and this presents itself as her barking. She will need to be walked in quieter area’s initially with owners who are prepared to work on her reactivity. She has managed to make friends with some dogs here at the centre, however she can get quite nervous very quickly. Dolly has been passed around a lot in her short little life, so we are desperate to find her her forever home to settle into. It is quite likely she did not receive enough socialisation as a young dog, which is why she struggles now. We would love to find Dolly a home where she can continue her training that she has done so well with here at the centre. She is a little pocket rocket with lots of love to give!

Housing:
Dolly would benefit from a private enclosed garden free from any visiting cats or neighbouring dogs. Cannot be rehomed to SO17 area. Dolly may need to learn how to be left at home alone as she has never been left previously.

Children/pets:
Dolly cannot live with other animals but can live children 13+.

Vet history:
Dolly has a luxating patella (kneecap) on the hind left leg. she is currently showing no clinical signs. Dolly will need to return to the shelter once she is settled to be neutered. She is fully vaccinated and up to date with her flea and worm treatment.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
