Name: Dino & Nugget
Age: 10 & 8 years old
Sex: Male & Female
Breed: French Bulldog
Ref number: 134 & 133
Personality:
Introducing our retirement couple Dino and Nugget! This loving pair came to us through no fault of their own and are now ready to find a home to enjoy their years together. This pair are very bonded and have kept each other company since arriving at the ark, they do everything together, whether it be off out enjoying their walks or cuddling up on a nice soft bed!
Behaviour:
These two have taken things in their stride since arriving with us and have made lots of friends amongst the staff and volunteers. They enjoy being out on their walks and following a good sniff but they love a fuss and a cuddle even more! Nugget can be a little wary at times and tends to lean on Dino for reassurance when meeting new people. She can walk calmly at a distance from other dogs but may occasionally let out the odd bark, they could have calm doggy friends to join out on walks.
Housing:
Dino and Nugget are looking for a calmer home to enjoy their retirement in. We believe these two can be left for a couple of hours but this will need to be introduced gradually once they’ve settled in. They would benefit from a garden to explore at their own leisure. Cannot be rehomed to the PO6 area.
Children/pets:
They could live with small pets in the home that are properly secured but otherwise will need to be the only pets. We have limited history on these two around children and for that reason we are looking for an adult only home but may consider a home with older calmer children of secondary school age.
Vet history:
Dino and Nugget are up to date with their flea, worming, vaccinations and have also both been neutered. Nugget came to use quite overweight and is currently on a weight loss plan that will need to continue in her new home.
