Costa

Name: Costa

Age: 1 year

Sex: Male

Breed: Spaniel/Poodle

Ref number: 108

Personality:
Costa is a very friendly and affectionate boy who loves human company and will sit on your lap for lots of calm fuss. He is also very playful and can often be heard amusing himself with a squeaky toy in his kennel and loves a game of fetch or ‘find the toy’ when out and about. He has won the hearts of everyone he has met here at the Centre and will make a wonderful addition to his new home.

Behaviour:
Costa has lived a very sheltered life and has not experienced much of the big wide world so he can find his walks stressful and may bark. He will react to dogs on lead mainly out of frustration and wanting to approach, however he has been able to walk with another dog here and will need to continue working on building his confidence slowly. His new home will need to have patience and understanding and be prepared to take things at Costa’s pace.

Housing:
Costa would benefit from having a private garden ideally with no dogs in neighboring gardens. We believe he could learn to be left for short periods of time but this will need to be built up slowly. He adores people and would love to find a family who are committed to his ongoing training.

Children/pets:
Costa should be the only animal in the home but could make suitably matched dog friends for walks, He could live with secondary school age children.

Vet history:
Costa is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatment

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
