My Personality

We currently have a number of tortoises looking for a home.

They were born in November 2019 so are still very young, for this reason you will need a tortoise table setup inside( see photo above).

The tortoise table needs to be no smaller than 4ft x 2ft, Swell do a tortoise starter kit gold online which is £229.99 but you can have a similar setup that isn’t a table. Ideally you need to have 2 lamps to maintain the correct heat at night.

We wouldn’t recommend using a vivarium.

The basking temperature needs to be between 26℃-32℃ and 20℃-26℃ outer temperature and at night time it should not drop lower than 13℃.

They will need to go outside on grass on warm sunny days, the garden will need to be secure or in a tortoise safe run. They will need a larger enclosure when they get to 5 years old (minimum 6ft x 3ft).

They are being homed as singles, as we cannot be 100% on their sexes and do not want them fighting or breeding later on in life.  With this in mind if you currently have another tortoise they would have to be kept separate.

You will need to register with a reptile vet as they will be able to guide you on worming, hibernation and general health checks.

Adoption fee £100 per tortoise.
