Rehoming – Profile

Unfortunately, Pearl’s previous owner only had her for a few days and was unable to cope and Ted was a stray so we have no history for either of them.

Behaviour observations on site:

Ted and Pearl are looking for a home together. Since being in our care, we have bonded them together and they are now very attached to one another.

Ted is a very friendly and gentle boy who is happy to be handled. He loves attention and playing (or sleeping!) in his tubes and can often be heard ‘dooking’ when exploring his pen or out on walks.

Pearl is an independent girl who likes to do things on her terms. She is currently not very keen on being handled but the staff are working with her to build her trust with this and she is gradually improving. Some days Pearl is full of beans and other days she is like a sleepy teenager! She loves going for walks on her harness and loves her enrichment, especially boxes and ladders; the more creative and elaborate the better!

They are looking for a home in a large outdoor pen, minimum size (for 2 ferrets) of 6ft x 6ft x 6ft with 3 solid sides and a roof. We do not rehome ferrets to cages or hutches.
Adoption fee for the pair: minimum donation of £43.75
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the animal

Medical history:

Ted and Pearl have both been neutered, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
