Tammy and Molly are looking for a retirement home together as they are in their golden years. They are Old spot x Tamworth’s so are very big!! We are asking that the new owner has had experience with this breed before.
Since being with us they have been on a diet to help loose some weight, which does seem to be working. Poor Tammy is showing signs of possible arthritis, which means she can be stiff to get up out of bed and when the mornings are chilly it takes her a little longer to getup. She is currently on Metacam to help, which we have found to be working. The vet has said she will need to be on the treatment long term or maybe forever. This could cost the new owner around £150-£200 a month.
Their favourite past time is laying in their wallow in the sun. They will tolerate a few pats but it’s not long before they tell you they have had enough.
