Rehoming – Profile
Slim came into our care Via one of our inspectors.
Behaviour observations on site:
Slim is a gorgeous youngster who unfortunately has not had the best start to life. Due to this, Slim can take sometime to warm up to men but generally, despite his past, is a super friendly boy who doesn’t know his size!
Slim would benefit from a confident handler who is searching for a dog that requires training. Slim will need basic training continued in the home, such as not jumping up when greeting new people and learning what’s okay to chew and what isn’t. Despite Slims general bouncy behaviour, he walks very well on the lead for the most part. He can at times pull if he wants to go somewhere and when he does, is very strong!
Slim is friendly around other dogs and could potentially live with another, pending successful meetings here at the shelter.
Slim has had a troubled past and negative experiences with people previously so we are therefore looking for a home with adults only.
Slim will make a wonderful companion for an active family, his silly goofy smile will make you happy every day!
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
