Rory & Arlo

Name: Rory & Arlo

Age: 12 weeks

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 156 & 157

Personality:
Arlo and Rory came into our care along with their mother, as they were sadly found in a bin shed. Due to being newborns at the time, they went to a foster home so their mum could bring them up in a home environment. Their fosterer reports that they are a very bonded pair and spend a lot of time together, resting or playing.

Behaviour:
Since being back in the cattery, they settled well and will eagerly come out of their unit to run up and down the cattery floor. As also seen in their foster home, they have lots of energy to burn off. They play with a variety of toys and sometimes play fight each other. They love to play hide and seek within the tunnels and pounce and chase after another. Arlo and Rory are an affectionate pair and will greet their socialisers, often purring away. In the cattery environment, Arlo tends to be the most confident and first to approach. However, in their foster home, they were both equally as confident with initiating for a fuss from their foster carer. When undisturbed, Arlo and Rory will snuggle up together in one of their beds to take a nap.

Housing:
Arlo and Rory will need a home with outside access to a garden. They would benefit from an area being set up with their belongings in the house whilst they initially settle.

Children/pets:
Arlo and Rory could live with Primary school aged children, whilst we believe these kittens to be happy around young children, they should be supervised at all times. With a slow introduction they could possibly live with a calm dog or cat that is used to having cats around with high energy levels.

Vet history:
Arlo and Rory are neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Arlo and Rory have no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £210. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
