Personality:
Rio is a lovely young dog very typical of his breed. He likes to meet people and have a good run around and a play. He can be a little nervous at first and so new people will need to give him time to come around. Rio is dog sociable but meeting new dogs can make him nervous and so his new adopters will need to be able to read his body language and advocate for him when he is a bit over
whelmed.
Behaviour:
Rio is still learning about the world and can be a little nervous at first but very quickly comes out of his shell and builds confidence with new things quite quickly. New experiences will need to be spaced out and taken at Rios pace. He will also need someone willing to build up his confidence with handing and things like grooming as at the moment it can be overwhelming for him. Rio is a young and active dog and will benefit from training classes or someone interested in activities such as scent work or gundog training.
Housing:
Rio needs to be the only dog in the household at the moment. He will need his own garden with 5 foot fences. He cannot be
rehomed to the SP5 area.
Children/pets:
Rio could live with sensible children 10+. She can also live with a dog savvy cat with careful introductions.
Vet history:
Rio is fully vaccinated, fleaed and wormed and will need to come back for castration when he is old enough.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
