Name: Peggy
Age: 4 Years
Sex: Female
Breed: Munchkin
Ref number: 127
Personality:
Peggy is a lovely girl who came in to us from a multicat household with her newborn kittens, she was lucky enough to go straight into a foster home. Initially very scared she slowly started to trust her fosterer who says she has blossomed into a sweet affectionate girl who is now ready to find her forever home. Since coming back in to the cattery environment she has settled well, often at the front of the unit curled up in her bed or watching people go by.
Behaviour:
Peggy is a playful affectionate girl; she will greet people as they enter her unit, and once she’s given you a good sniff she enjoys a gentle fuss. She is a playful girl and especially likes playing with her string toy and rolling around on her shelf. She can be a little spooked by loud noises or sudden movements but is becoming more confident everyday.
Housing:
Peggy does prefer the safety of her unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a secure enclosed garden with supervised access only, or an option to add a catio, this is due to her breed. We strongly advise any potential adopter researches the breed before applying, any questions can be discussed with the cattery team. She cannot be homed in the Portsmouth PO1 area.
Children/pets:
Peggy will need to be an only pet as has shown she can be fearful of other animals. She can live with older aged Secondary school children who will be calm around her.
Vet history:
Peggy is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated.
4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
