Personality:
Max is a sweet boy who enjoys having human company. He likes the comfort of his covered bed when he is undisturbed. When being socialised he often makes a quick appearance as he loves a fuss.
Behaviour:
Max is very affectionate so he often rolls around whilst having some gentle strokes and will nudge your hand to ask for more. He will sometimes jump on your lap for a short cuddle however he is still building his confidence in doing this. Max isn’t always so keen on playing with toys but this may come with time in a home environment.
Housing:
As Max highly values human company, he would benefit having his adopters around during the day to keep him company. Max does prefer the safety of his unit/hide and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in Southampton SO17 area.
Children/pets:
Max will need to be the only pet in the household due to his nervous nature. He could live with secondary school aged children who will give him time to settle in his new home.
Vet history:
Max is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Max has had a dental whilst in our care but has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
