Personality:
Maple came to us due to no fault of her own. She is a sweet natured girl. She is affectionate and loves cuddles with people.
She loves being out for a sniff and explore, and a play with her ball.
Behaviour:
Maple is sweet girl, who can be a little nervous in new surroundings, but she builds confidence quickly. We do not know much about her life before she came to us but it’s clear she enjoys spending time with people and having cuddles. Her new adopters will have to be open minded to potentially introducing her toilet training and leaving her on her own. Maple will make a really lovely companion for someone who wants a friend for life.
Housing:
Maple would benefit from having her own garden to run around in as she will need re-call training before being let off lead in public areas. She cannot be homed to the PO13 area.
Children/pets:
Maple could live with another dog, but it needs to be the right match. She is quite fearful of other dogs currently and tends to move away from them if they are too playful. We think she would do best with another smaller dog. She cannot live with cats but could live with children of secondary school age.
Vet history:
Maple has no on-going health conditions and has been flea/wormed and vaccinated. She will need to be returned to the shelter for her spay, once she has settled in her new home.
