Hovis

Name: Hovis

Age: 1 year

Sex: Male

Breed: Guinea pig

Ref number: 6

Personality:
Hovis is an extremely inquisitive boy that is always straight over to see you. He is a very active boy and is always zooming around his enclosure doing lots of ‘popcorning’.

Behaviour:
Though Hovis is intrigued by people, he’s not so keen on being handled and will wriggle to get away. We’ve found when socialising with him he feels more confident when we sit beside his enclosure and allow him to come over and sniff your hand.

Housing:
He will require an enclosure of a minimum of 6ft x 2ft, either housed indoors (such as a C&C pen) or outdoors (a large shed set up). Hovis can live with a single female or a group of females.

Children/pets:
Hovis can live around other animals in a separate room. He can also live with children of primary school age (5-11 years) and up. All young children should be supervised when handling guinea pigs.

Vet history:
Hovis has been castrated, he does not currently have any health issues.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £25. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the guinea pig.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
