Rehoming – Profile
Honey and Inky are both from a multi-pet household and have had limited experience with the outside. They were signed over into our care due to their previous owners moving to no pet accommodation.
Behaviour observations on site:
Honey and Inky are a really sweet but timid pair of dogs who are looking for their forever home together. Due to them originally coming from a multi-pet household, both dogs are under socialised and as a result, can be nervous of new people and environments. Honey and Inky’s new family should have a good understanding of dog behaviour and be experienced with dealing with nervous dogs.
They would benefit from having a quiet area of the house to settle into for the first couple of weeks, and patient owners who will give them plenty of time to adjust is important. Adopters should consider the fact that it is likely these two are not toilet trained and will need gradual exposure to being left on their own.
Honey and Inky have both come an incredibly long way since arriving at the shelter and now enjoy their walks and running around off – lead together.
They do not take too long to make friends, especially if you have a tasty treat and once both dogs have formed a trusted relationship with you, they are very affectionate and love cuddles.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
No known health issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Cannot be rehomed to Porchester
