My Personality

Poor Hayley has found it tough to settle in the cattery environment. She came from a multi cat household and was completely shut down. She would spend all her time hiding away in her outside carrier. After a few weeks the decision was made to give her some anxiety medication to try and help her relax in the cattery environment. After a few days Hayley started to come out of her shell. She is quite a chatty girl who has the cutest little meow. Once she trusts you she will come and see you in her outside run. She has started rubbing around your legs, enjoying some gentle fuss and has even jumped on one volunteers lap! Hayley is now off of all medication and is still doing well, especially once she knows you. If you’re meeting her for the first time she will come out to meet you as long as you let her do this when she feels ready and not encroach her outdoor carrier as this is her safe space.

Hayley is very foody and this is a great way to try and make friends with her.

Hayley would need her own, unused room to initially settle and feel comfortable in before exploring the rest of the property and eventually an enclosed garden.

As Hayley takes time to settle we feel she would be best suited as an only pet in an adult only home that is quite and calm.

Hayley cannot be homed in the Havant area and her adoption fee is a minimum donation of £25.
