Behaviour observations on site:
Harry and Sonny are very wary of our intentions. Whenever they see anyone come near them they will hiss and run away from you to create distance.
They have been in a foster home for a few weeks before returning to the shelter, and while they remained fearful at first, with time they did get used to a little handling.
Harry and Sonny are starting to show a playful side and enjoy playing with toys together or a feather stick toy that you’re holding.
It is essential they have their own room that is completely unused for them to settle in and this may take quite a while. Once they are comfortable with their new adopters and their surroundings they will be able to explore the rest of the property and eventually a fully enclosed garden. New adopters need to be aware this is likely to take months to achieve.
Harry and Sonny needs to be only pets in an adult only household. Their new owners need to have a good understanding of cat behaviour and take things very slowly at a pace the kittens feel comfortable with.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Harry and Sonny have no known medical conditions.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Harry and Kane cannot be homed in Havant and their adoption fee is a minimum donation of £175.
