Cara and Jade

Name: Cara and Jade

Age: 15 years approx

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 34 and 35

Personality:
Cara and Jade are a sweet pair who enjoy having company. Cara is more lively of the two and initiates for fuss when she wants it and likes to find a cosy space to rest, either in her unit or sunbathing in her run. Jade finds the cattery environment stressful so she mostly stays in her outside carrier during the day and uses all her energy at night when it’s quiet. They are both happy to be around each other and spend more time together overnight.

Behaviour:
Cara is an affectionate girl on her terms and once she gets to know you she will come lay on your lap enjoying the fuss. She likes to have company and will rub around your legs when she wants attention. Jade is shy but sweet so she will enjoy her share of fuss in the outside run carrier and will purr away. Jade loves her food so it is a good way to make friends with her.

Housing:
Cara and Jade are still nervous around loud noises and often find new surroundings stressful so for this reason they would benefit from their own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a fully enclosed private garden. They cannot be homed in Portsmouth (Po6 area)

Children/pets:
Cara and Jade could live with older children 16+ as they are both nervous and need understanding of when they would like some space. They need to be the only pets in the household due to them showing a dislike to other cats/dogs.

Vet history:
Cara and Jade are neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Cara and Jade have no known medical conditions. They have both had dentals whilst being in our care. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £140. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
